All bikes are subject to availability, riders must hold a full valid motorcycle licence and offer 3 documents of identity

Insurance explained

General terms for London office

  • Minimum age is 18 for all scooters and 21 for all bikes up to 800cc excluding 600cc sport bikes - for all other bikes, minimum age is 30 years
  • There is a 75 pound per week (or part week) surcharge for use outside the UK
  • 150 miles per day allowance (pro rata) - then 0.25/mile
  • There is a 25 pound surcharge for non UK licence holders
  • Luggage is available for most bikes - where it is not a standard factory fitting - the cost for luggage cases is 15 per case or 35 for a set of 3 cases - Please note, cases are not covered with insurance and any damage must be recovered in full
  • Helmets are available for hire at 5/day

 

 The bikes/scooters have 3rd party insurance included in the rental price - the rider will leave a basic deposit  when collecting the bike.
When you return the bike it will be checked for damage and any repairs will be deducted from the deposit. If the damage is more than the deposit - then an invoice will be raised against the rider for the full balance

Insurance upgrade/waiver
You have the option to upgrade to full insurance with waiver - the cost for this is 65 pounds per week (or part week) - this insurance covers all damage costs above the deposit level, so with this insurance you would not have more to pay for damage than the deposit already paid when you collect the bike.

  • Non-UK residents are subject to a 25 per week insurance surcharge, also there is a 25 per week surcharge for foreign use, which must be authorised with us first.

  • Non-UK residents must provide proof of address whilst in UK

  • Full rental amount due at time of booking. A 2% charge will be made on all credit card payments, no extra charge for debit cards

  • 1 day rentals are available Monday to Thursday only, minimum 2 day rentals from Friday to Sunday inclusive.

  • High quality motorcycle clothing is available at 10 per day, or 50 per week per item

Terms
  • All prices quoted include VAT, insurance, UK recovery, unlimited mileage and the provision of either U locks or Disc locks. All of our motorcycles are fitted with alarm/immobilisers.
  • Helmets and luggage can be provided free of charge.
  • On collection you will need to provide your driving licence, passport and a utility bill confirming your identity and current address (e.g. bank statement, gas bill etc...)
  • Foreign nationals will be required to also provide proof of where they are staying whilst in the UK.
  • Any major driving offences must be declared to us prior to hire and must be acceptable to our insurers. Failure to advise us in advance may result in the refusal of hire.
  • Our bikes can all be taken overseas but Green Card insurance and European breakdown must be arranged prior to departure.

  • The weekend rate is based on a 2 day rental commencing on a Friday or Saturday and returning up to 48 hours later

  • Rental office is closed on Sunday and Monday, for pick up or drop off on those days there is a surcharge of 25 for Sunday and 15 for Monday (per bike)

  • Riders clothing pack available (Cordura jacket, trousers, gloves and boots) at 90 per week or part week

  • No helmets available for hire - please bring your own trusted helmet.

  • GPS - 10/day. 50/week.
  • Pickup times are generally 12pm.  Drop off time 11am.  Pickups and drop-offs outside these times may be possible but contact us to confirm availability and pricing.
  • We don't offer clothing or helmet rental.
  • We offer free pickup service from Glasgow Airport and Paisley Gilmour Street train station.  Transfers from anywhere else in Scotland can be arranged and will be priced individually.
  • We don't offer one way rentals.  All must start and end at our depot
  • Hirers must be 25 years or over
  • Must have held license for a minimum of 2 years and have recent and regular riding experience
  • Security deposit of 1500 pounds required for each hire to cover the insurance excess
  • Mileage allowance or 200 miles per day.  Mileage in excess of this is charged at 0.20 per mile.
  • 30 poundsflat admin fee for non UK license holders
